Teen Tarot Summer Intensive Ages 13-17 Mondays & Wednesdays

Tarot Quest: Unlock Your Inner Wisdom

3-Week Teen Tarot Summer Intensive (Mondays & Wednesdays)

Calling all curious, creative, and introspective teens (ages 13–17)! Dive into the ancient art of tarot—not as fortune-telling, but as a powerful tool for self-discovery, decision-making, emotional insight, and creative storytelling. In this 3-week summer program, you'll explore The Rider Waite-Smith tarot, learn to trust your intuition, build meaningful spreads, and create personal rituals that fit your life right now.

No experience required—just bring an open mind, a journal, and your unique perspective.

Program Breakdown (6 sessions total)

Week 1: Foundations & Awakening Intuition (Mon & Wed)

  • Discover the structure of a tarot deck: Major Arcana (life's big archetypal journeys) vs. Minor Arcana (everyday energies, emotions, and actions).

  • Learn how to shuffle, set intentions, and pull cards with confidence.

  • Explore intuition-building exercises: blind draws, "what does this card feel like to me?" discussions, and quick one-card "vibe checks" for the day/week.

  • Fun teen-relevant activities: Card "personality" matching (which card is most like your current mood or fave character?), journaling prompts tied to school/friendships/goals, and group sharing circles (voluntary & judgment-free).

Week 2: Deepening Meanings & Storytelling Power (Mon & Wed)

  • Dive into card meanings through personal lenses: upright/reverse, symbolism, and how cards connect to real teen experiences (identity, relationships, stress, dreams, boundaries).

  • Practice 2–3 card pulls for quick insights (e.g., "Situation–Challenge–Advice" or "Mind–Body–Spirit").

  • Creative projects: Tarot-inspired poetry, playlist curation for specific cards, digital art edits of card imagery, or short story writing using pulled cards as plot prompts.

  • Group games like "Tarot improv" (act out a card's energy) and collaborative story-building where everyone adds a card to evolve a shared narrative.

Week 3: Custom Spreads, Rituals & Your Personal Practice (Mon & Wed)

  • Master versatile spreads: Celtic Cross breakdown (simplified), custom 5–7 card layouts for big questions (college/career paths, friendships, self-growth).

  • Build your own tarot rituals: moon-phase check-ins, affirmation card pulls, or "shadow work lite" with gentle cards for processing tough feelings.

  • Capstone projects: Design and name your own signature spread, create a personalized tarot journal or vision board, learn to cleanse and clear energies from your Tarot deck.

  • Final session: "Tarot Share Night" — optional readings for peers, group reflections, and celebration of growth (with snacks and chill vibes).
